Attack of the Hybrids & Matt Harmon 'RP' - Draft Science 2016 Pt 3 - CWM020

April is ‘Draft Science 2016’ month and we start it off on the podcast, and we’re changing it up.

That eye-test has experience behind it, but there is more to analyzing how an a athlete will move on the field in a live contest.

Draft Science part 3 - Hybrid Athletic Matrix Analysis

The cornerback debate for the 2016 draft class has come and gone. The safety class is tough to call ‘impressive’.  But there are a lot of small linebackers in the 2016 Draft.

Who can fit into the nickel linebacker role?

Is Darren Lee a 4-3 WIL? Probably. Could he fit into a 3-4 scheme? Maybe, but its the nickel linebacker where he can excel.

Who has the combination of Power and range to cover out of the nickel linebacker position?

Wide Receiver Perception

NFL.com’s @MattHarmon_BYB joins us looking at Wide receiver trends through the “Reception Perception” research.

Who can come into an NFL offense and fit into the X role?  How many are there?

How deep is the group of slot receivers in this class?  how do they fit in the NFL?

We are excited to let everyone know that we will have bonus episodes for the 1st and 2nd day of the draft. We’ll have reaction and analysis for you!
